If the owner of this item dies before reaching the final room of the adventure, the owner has the option to “pay off Death” and return to life. The state of life one is returned to depends on how much Death was paid:
No Party Card Effect
This item allows a druid to learn the clue(s) that would be given from a bard’s Bardic Knowledge check and/or a rogue’s skill check box without having to pass the test(s). This does not allow the druid to take the treasure in lieu of the clue.
A Libram of Looting cannot be used in conjunction with this token to get both the clue and treasure from what would have been the rogue’s skill test.
If the owner of this item sacrifices a total of 100 GP in “gems” (anything in this list, as long as it totals at least* 100 GP), the Censer removes one curse from one person. The combined action of sacrificing the gem(s) and removing the curse together count as a single Standard Action. Only one curse can be removed per use.
This slotless item allows the wearer to retrieve and drink one non-healing potion as a Free Action once per game. It does not work for other liquids like oils or salves.
Once per room, the owner of this chalice may convert any Rare potion to a beverage that restores 4 hp. The beverage must be consumed immediately–it cannot be “banked” for later use. The converted potion must be in the chalice owner’s possession and the healing beverage can only be consumed by the chalice owner.
All effects the potion once had are completely negated when converted to a healing beverage. E.g., drinking a converted Potion Dwarven Mead only heals 4 HP,
If this token is received as treasure, you become cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, to receive the effect of a potion, two potions of the exact same name must be consumed. You only gain the effect once. This affects ALL potions, including but not limited to polymorph and healing potions.
Only consumed liquids that have “Potion” in their name are affected by this curse. E.g., you could apply a weapon oil and have it buff your weapon without needing to apply two coats of the oil.
If this token is received as treasure, you get cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, you become enraptured by every monster you encounter. As a consequence, you spend the first round of every combat singing love songs to the monster(s). While singing, you may not perform any other Actions–not even purely mental ones. Starting on round 2 of combat, the cursed character regains their free will and acts according to the player’s wishes.
If this token is received as treasure, you become cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, you cannot benefit from any synergy bonuses. However, unless they are also cursed by their own Scale of Greed, other party members can gain synergy from the synergistic tokens you have equipped. E.g., if all 10 party members have equipped a Charm of Synergy, but you are the only one cursed by Scale of Greed,
Once per room, any non-healing potion consumed by the wearer heals the wearer 1 HP. This horn does not overwrite the potion’s original effect, it adds to it. E.g., drinking a Potion Black Dragon Breath doesn’t normally heal the consumer, but with this item it would deal 5 damage to all monsters and heal 1 HP to the consumer. Potions that already restore HP are not affected by this item.
To be used in conjunction with a Drinking Horn of Bliss,
