A lagniappe for large token purchases. Early versions may have confered special perks or have been exchangeable for special tokens, but the 2019 version was only a memento and could not be exchanged for anything.

Gold Piece or GP equivalent tokens may be hoarded as treasure, traded with other adventurers (big-time token collectors may be especially interested in GP), exchanged for NPC services outside of the adventure, used as currency to bid on items in the True Dungeon auction, or exchanged for transmuted tokens on http://www.truedungeon.com/transmuted . On very rare occasions, certain NPCs within the adventure may be influenced by the offering of riches.
This amulet grants the player four extra Treasure Chips. It does not affect the reward gained by succeeding on a rogue skill test or other caches of loot found within the adventure.
Even if a player can equip two Neck slot items, this token may not be equipped at the same time as the Horn of Plenty. Doing so might create situations that abuse the amount of treasure a player receives.
In 2010, one lore token was included in each pack of 10 tokens. Lore tokens encouraged collectors to log on to www.truedungeon.com and discover special hints about that year’s adventure as well as the formulas for that year’s Combo tokens.
Each Lore token had a copper back to distinguish it from the standard gold-backed tokens in a pack and was numbered 1-40. This token was #01.
In 2005 True Dungeon released the Token Collector’s Kit. This imprinted three ring binder included special pages to store your token collection and included the Bag of Holding token. The Bag of Holding token is a novelty/collector item but has no in-game function.
If no other treasure-enhancing tokens (regardless of rarity or permanence) are equipped, the player receives 1 additional Treasure Chip at the end of the adventure.
If a variable-effect token is being used to gain Treasure Chips, Gloves of the Raider does not stack with it. E.g., if the ___ of Wonder‘s effect for that year increases Treasure Chips gained, Gloves of the Raider and ___ of Wonder can’t be equipped by the same character.

Wearers gain additional Treasure Chips as if they have equipped Charm of Good Fortune, Horn of Plenty, and Ring of Riches, thus gaining between 11 and 13 extra chips. I.e., it gives the effect of those tokens without actually equipping them. The wearer may not equip Amulet of Treasure Finding, Charm of Good Fortune, Horn of Plenty, or Ring of Riches.
