Suffer -2 to all saving throws. In addition, when the wearer can hear bardsong being performed, the wearer is immune to fear effects. This item does not function if the wearer is unable to hear the bard play (e.g., if the wearer was magically silenced)
Drawback
If no other treasure-enhancing tokens (regardless of rarity or permanence) are equipped, the player receives one additional Treasure Chip at the end of the adventure.
If a variable-effect token is being used to gain Treasure Chips, Sandals of Humble Reward will not stack with it. E.g., if the Amulet of Wonder‘s effect for that year increases Treasure Chips gained, Sandals of Humble Reward and Amulet of Wonder can’t be equipped by the same character.
Deals 4 damage as Darkrift to all monsters and Stuns the caster for one round after casting. There is no saving throw to mitigate damage, nor to resist the Stun.
Stunned: Victim drops whatever is in its hands; cannot attack, cast spells, or play bardsong; and suffers a -2 AC penalty.
Adds +4 to the caster’s AC for the entire adventure. It must be turned in to the coach while the party card is being filled out.
As an Instant Action (contrary to what the token states, this does not use up either the wearer’s Free or Standard Action for the round), the wearer may sacrifice a 1st-level Spell to polymorph into one of four types of Elemental. While polymorphed into an elemental, the wearer gains the following abilities, based on the type of Elemental chosen:
Adds +5 to AC, penalizes Reflex saving throws by -1, and allows breathing while underwater
Adds +2 to Strength (thus adding +1 To Hit in melee and +1 Damage with melee and thrown weapons) and -1 to Dexterity (thus, depending on prior Dexterity score, suffering either a 0/-1 To Hit with ranged attacks, either 0/-1 to AC, and either 0/-1 to Reflex saving throws)
Adds +1 to Strength (thus, depending on prior Strength score, adding either 0/+1 To Hit in melee and either 0/+1 Damage with melee and thrown weapons) and -1 to Dexterity (thus, depending on prior Dexterity score, suffering either a 0/-1 To Hit with ranged attacks, either 0/-1 to AC, and either 0/-1 to Reflex saving throws)
