As a special quest, only a small few of these incredibly rare tokens were made available in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Arcane Recipe token owners had the special privilege (if they chose to do so) to negotiate with the Master Trader to have a unique token crafted for them. Only one copy of the item was made, and that item was “soul bound” to the player. (I.e., only the token’s original creator can use it in the game.) These tokens could be held from year to year until the proper resources were collected to turn in.
