Use of this amazing item will allow a rogue to start a Rogue Skill Test from the midway point through the challenge instead of at the start. This may only be used once per room. It cannot be used simultaneously with Masterwork Thieves’ Tools. However, it is possible for rogues to use their Masterwork Thieves’ Tools after using the Ektdar’s Tinkering Tool. This second chance would start at the beginning of the skill challenge.
No Party Card Effect
User gains +1 To Hit and +1 Damage when attacking with a Rare weapon, including Rare alchemical weapons. This item has no effect on weapons of any other rarity, not even Common or Uncommon. This item affects both Melee and Ranged weapons, as long as the weapon is Rare.
When making Melee attacks, monks and rangers can benefit from this item, but only when both weapons they’re wielding are Rare.
Once per game, you may evenly split the effect of a healing potion with one other character. Each character gains half of the potion’s healing effect, rounded down. E.g., if the owner shared a 10-point healing potion, the owner and the other person would each regain 5 HP. If the owner shared a 7-point healing potion, the owner and the other person would each regain 3 HP.
When this gem’s command word is spoken, all the target monster’s To Hit rolls suffer a -4 penalty for one round if the monster does not succeed on a DC 15 Reflex saving throw. If the monster succeeds on the Reflex save, the gem has no effect that round and the charge is wasted. This item can be used 4 times before it cracks and turns to a pile of ash.
This item does not reduce the target’s AC.
When crushed over a dead comrade, this item restores the character to life with full HP. The resurrected character will not gain back any expended spells or limited use special abilities. This must be used in the room where the death occurred. The process of reviving a character with this item requires a Standard Action.
It can also be crushed over a living character to restore full hit points to that character.
Once per game as a Standard Action, the owner may target an Incorporeal Undead monster. That monster must succeed on a DC 15 Will save or be trapped forever within this device, thus defeating the monster immediately.
To be trapped by this item, the monster must be both Incorporeal and Undead. It has no effect on corporeal Undead nor on Incorporeal creatures that are not Undead.
This device has a built-in safety mechanism to prevent a user from crossing the magical stream that issues forth from the device.
Pouring two flasks of Faerie Water (i.e., turn in two tokens) into a Goblet of Healing and consuming the liquid from the goblet will heal the imbiber 3 HP. The pouring and drinking process can be completed as a single Standard Action.
If you have also equipped a Greater Alchemist Pouch, it will bestow its healing bonus on you when you drink two Faerie Waters out of this goblet.
Adds +1 Damage to all successful damage-inflicting spells cast by druids. This is a permanent item. Multiple copies do not stack.
If a spell under the influence of Greater Mistletoe can affect more than one target, only one victim gets the extra damage. E.g., if the druid casts a spell that deals 2 damage to all monsters, only one of the monsters would take an extra point of damage. The druid chooses the recipient of the extra point of damage.
