This amulet grants the player four extra Treasure Chips. It does not affect the reward gained by succeeding on a rogue skill test or other caches of loot found within the adventure.
Additional Treasure
Wearers gain additional Treasure Chips as if they have equipped Charm of Good Fortune, Horn of Plenty, and Ring of Riches, thus gaining between 11 and 13 extra chips. I.e., it gives the effect of those tokens without actually equipping them. The wearer may not equip Amulet of Treasure Finding, Charm of Good Fortune, Horn of Plenty, or Ring of Riches.
If no other treasure-enhancing tokens (regardless of rarity or permanence) are equipped, the player receives two additional Treasure Chips at the end of the adventure.
Awards additional Treasure Chips based on the total number of Charms of Good Fortune worn by the party, as shown below:
The wearer may increase the effect of an Ultra Rare, Exalted, Rare, Enhanced, Uncommon†, or Common† Treasure-Enhancing token by +1. E.g., Charm of Treasure Boosting could be used with Crown of Treasure Finding because that’s a Rare, but not with Charm of Avarice because that’s a Legendary.
No more than one Treasure-Enhancing token may be equipped by the wearer of this charm.
For the purpose of this token’s restriction,
If no other treasure-enhancing tokens (regardless of rarity or permanence) are equipped, the player receives one additional Treasure Chip at the end of the adventure.
If a variable-effect token is being used to gain Treasure Chips, Cloak of Many Pockets will not stack with it. E.g., if the Amulet of Wonder‘s effect for that year increases Treasure Chips gained, Cloak of Many Pockets and Amulet of Wonder can’t be equipped by the same character.
If no other treasure-enhancing tokens (regardless of rarity or permanence) are equipped, the player receives one additional Treasure Chip at the end of the adventure.
If a variable-effect token is being used to gain Treasure Chips, Crown of Treasure Finding will not stack with it. E.g., if the Amulet of Wonder‘s effect for that year increases Treasure Chips gained, Crown of Treasure Finding and Amulet of Wonder can’t be equipped by the same character.
If no other treasure-enhancing tokens (regardless of rarity or permanence) are equipped, the player receives one additional Treasure Chip at the end of the adventure.
If a variable-effect token is being used to gain Treasure Chips, Gloves of the Raider do not stack with it. E.g., if the Amulet of Wonder‘s effect for that year increases Treasure Chips gained, Gloves of the Raider and Amulet of Wonder can’t be equipped by the same character.
Erratum: As of 2015, this amulet grants the player six extra Treasure Chips at the end of their adventure. It does not affect the reward gained by succeeding on a rogue skill test or other caches of loot found within the adventure.
