This amulet has a different powerful effect each year. Please ask your coach for information about the current effect if it’s not shown below–sometimes the effect is a surprise.

In addition to all the powers granted by Mad Evoker’s Charm (double the base damage of a Spell and suffer 25 points of Eldritch damage–see the description of Mad Evoker’s Charm for details), once per round Ashenne’s Arch-Mage Medallion allows a wizard to modify a cast Spell (excluding any scrolls or “as a scroll” effects) with one or more of the Mage Power (MP) or Arch-Mage Power (AMP) effects listed below.
The wearer gains the following effects:
- +10 Damage with two-handed melee weapons
- May use rage or greater rage two* additional times
- May invoke fury twice per game
Fury: Whether raging or not, as an Instant Action a barbarian can announce that they are going to fury before making their attack slide. If they hit,
Wearer may equip up to three additional Charms.
This item’s effect stacks with other Charm slot-expanders, but the wearer is still subject to the Slot Expanders Cap of no more than ten Charms.
Once per room, the wearer has the option of adding +3 to the base damage of a spell cast from their character card (not a scroll or item), but when doing so the wizard suffers 2 points of Eldritch damage.
Crazed Evoker’s Amulet must be consciously activated when casting the spell. The wizard will take the 2 Eldritch damage whether the spell is successful or not. Activating this item requires neither a Free nor Standard Action.
Adds +1 to Dexterity (thus, depending on prior Dexterity score, either 0/+1 To Hit with ranged attacks, either 0/+1 to AC, and either 0/+1 to Reflex saving throws)
