Ring of Direct Insults

After successfully using taunt, the wearer takes -2 damage from all melee attacks made by the tauntee (not any other monster) on the tauntee’s next turn. If the wearer didn’t taunt the monster on the wearer’s previous turn, this ring provides no bonus. This ring has no effect on attacks made by a monster that is immune to taunt.

If the wearer of this ring has also equipped Boots of the Stalwart, on the post-taunt round, that character takes -4 damage from the taunted monster and -2 damage from all other monsters. I.e., the two powers stack.

Note: This is one of very few items that can only be equipped by one of the fighter classes–in this case, only dwarf fighters can use this item.
