CURSED Candlestick of Anger

If this token is received as treasure, you become cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, you must equip this candlestick in your mainhand melee slot. You may make ranged attacks with other weapons, but any time you perform a melee attack, it must be with this weapon.

This candlestick does not bestow any combat penalties–beyond being a lousy weapon. The wielder still gains any relevant To Hit or Damage modifiers for melee attacks that they would otherwise get.

This weapon is flurry of blows-compatible. Monks must equip this weapon in their mainhand melee slot, but may equip any flurry of blows-compatible weapon (or no weapon) in their melee offhand slot.

It is possible to suffer the effects of more than one curse at the same time. E.g., if you pulled this token and a CURSED Simian Claws of Wishing, you would be under the effects of both curses. However, if you pull the same cursed token more than once, the effects of the duplicated curse do not stack.

This curse can be removed by any token that removes curses. See each token’s description to see if it removes all current curses or just one.

Once you remove a curse, you may keep the token as a keepsake. The Anger Curse, whether removed or not, expired at the end of Gamehole Con 2022. As a result, this token may not be used in an adventure–in any capacity.
