Transmuted-Relic (5 pt)
When this instrument is played, bardsong grants each party member a total of +2 To Hit & +2 Damage (+3 To Hit & +3 Damage if the bard is 5th-level) with melee and ranged attacks. While performing bardsong, the bard may simultaneously perform a Standard Action (e.g., physically attack, cast spells, perform a Lore check, read scrolls, activate wands, drink potions, etc.)
In addition to all the powers granted by Mad Evoker’s Charm (double the base damage +skill check of a Spell and suffer 25 points of Eldritch damage–see the description of Mad Evoker’s Charm for details), once per round Mage Medallion allows a wizard to modify a cast Spell (excluding any scrolls or “as a scroll” effects) with one or more of the Mage Power (MP) effects listed below.
The wearer gains the following effects:
- +6 Damage with two-handed melee weapons
- May use rage or greater rage one additional time
- May invoke fury 1/game
Fury: Whether raging or not, as an Instant Action a barbarian can announce that they are going to fury before making their attack slide. If they hit, the damage done with that one slide is treated as a standard 2× critical hit.
The wearer’s sneak attacks can crit on 19-20* (assuming the target is capable of being critically hit) and all of the wearer’s sneak attacks may be performed without the standard one round of prep.
*If some other crit-enhancing magic can expand one’s crit range beyond 19-20, use whichever crit range is wider. I.e., crit-expanding effects do not stack, they overlap.
Twice per game, the wearer may attempt a sneak attack the same monster twice in the same room–neither instance requires a prep round.
Once per game, the owner of this item may inflict 5 points of Eldritch damage on a single target. No To Hit roll is required, but it is considered a Ranged attack. This damage is not subject to any kind of damage bonus the user may possess. Eldritch damage cannot be mitigated.
This item grants following:
- Adds +4 to Constitution (thus adding +2 to Fortitude saving throws and +2 to max HP per character level)
- Ranged attacks deal +6 Damage
- Once per game, the ranger may cast any Druid-usable scroll
