Darkwood Plank
Adds +1 Damage to all successful damage-inflicting spells cast by druids. This is a permanent item. Multiple copies do not stack.
If a spell under the influence of Greater Mistletoe can affect more than one target, only one victim gets the extra damage. E.g., if the druid casts a spell that deals 2 damage to all monsters, only one of the monsters would take an extra point of damage. The druid chooses the recipient of the extra point of damage.
For one game only, adds +2 to max HP after you give this token to an unsuspecting player–not an unsuspecting character.
This token is unique in that you only gain its effect when you give it away. Furthermore, the player you give it to cannot be aware you’re giving it to them. There is no limit to the number of times* this token can be passed along, but to enjoy its effect, all of the following must be true:
- The new owner must not be aware they have received this token.
As a miscellaneous gear token, the use of this item in the adventure is limited only by the imagination of the player and the approval of the DM.
When played by a bard, in addition to the standard bardsong bonuses, this instrument reduces the amount of Darkrift damage dealt to all party members by 2. It does not matter if the Darkrift attack is targeted at an individual or affects multiple victims, as long as the bard is performing bardsong with this instrument and the recipient of the damage is a member of the party, the Darkrift damage is reduced.
The cleric’s turn undead ability is expanded to affect Evil Outsiders and Aberrations, in addition to Undead.
Adds +1 HP healed from any healing spell received if the spell was cast by a character, not from scrolls or items.
Note: The bonus healing is applied when healing spells are cast upon the character utilizing this runestone. When healer classes utilize this runestone, healing spells they cast upon others are not boosted.
Once per game, the character may use their equipped Spirit Pet to attack twice in a single room.
The wearer cannot become affected by the Blighted condition.
Blighted: Unique to Cravenwood, this condition represents some evil magic that infests a being. Lycanthropy is one such Blight, but it could be something like “Rooted Legs” or “Black Tongue” which could affect a stricken character.
