When used to make a successful missile attack (slid as weapon on the combat board), this alchemical weapon deals Shock damage to the monster. It is usable only once, whether the attack succeeds or misses.
On a successful hit with a physical ranged weapon (including thrown weapons, but not spells or wholly magical effects), the wielder deals an additional 1 damage as Shock.
Runestones are single use items that are turned in to the coach prior to starting an adventure. The effects get added to your overall stats. One runestone may be used per adventure. However, up to two additional Rare/Ultra Rare runestones can be attached to one weapon (or one runestone each on two different weapons) if the player possesses a Runestone Fitting Base (one per additional runestone) and presents it at the beginning of the adventure with the additional R/UR runestone(s) of choice.
When two different characters wear this shirt and one of those two casts a healing Spell on the other, the recipient of the healing Spell heals an additional 3 HP. The caster and the target of the healing Spell may not be the same person. I.e., if a healer wearing this shirt casts a self-targeting healing Spell, this shirt does not boost that spell’s healing. Like all healing effects, this item cannot be used to increase HP beyond the character’s max HP.
Adds +1 to Strength (thus, depending on prior Strength score, adding either 0/+1 To Hit in Melee and either 0/+1 Damage with Melee and thrown weapons)
If at least one other party member has also equipped a Linked Shirt of the Valkyrie, each wearer gains one additional Strength point for a total bonus of +2 Strength. (thus adding +1 To Hit in Melee and +1 Damage with Melee and thrown weapons)
If this token is received as treasure, you become cursed. For as long as you are under this curse, during each combat you are in, you–the real-life human person, not your in-game character–must croak like a frog twice.
This item occupies your Back slot and must be equipped until the curse is removed. If you’re able to wear more than one Back slot item, this item only occupies one of your Back slots.
