Bead of the Cleaver

Adds +1 To Hit and +1 Damage with axes or cleavers

For the purpose of being compatible with this bead, the token must be a weapon with the word “Axe” or “Cleaver” in its title.

• A weapon whose image bears a visual similarity to an axe or cleaver is not compatible with this bead unless the weapon has the word “Axe” or “Cleaver” in its title. E.g., +1 Dwarven Hurled Insult may look like an axe, but it is not compatible because its name does not contain the word “Axe” or “Cleaver”.
• Simply having the letters a, x, and e in succession is not sufficient. E.g., if there were such a thing as a “Paraxeum Sword”, it would not compatible with this bead.
• Simply having the letters c, l, e, a, v, e, and r in succession is not sufficient. E.g., if there were such a thing as a “Cleaverium Mace”, it would not compatible with this bead.
  • Note: A weapon whose title contains a compound word containing “cleaver” as a noun modified by another word are compatible as long as the combination makes logical sense and is clearly referring to a cleaver-like weapon. E.g., +2 Deathcleaver is compatible with this bead because its title contains “cleaver” and it is clearly referring to some kind of cleaver.

This item is not usable by non-dwarf fighters

Erratum: After going to print, it was decided this token should also affect cleavers. This does not mean TD considers axes and cleavers to be synonymous.
