When used to make a successful missile attack (slid as weapon on the combat board), this alchemical weapon deals Shock damage to the monster. It is usable only once, whether the attack succeeds or misses.
Thrown
non-magical weapon
This weapon must be thrown–it cannot be wielded as a melee attack. Because it’s a thrown weapon, the thrower’s Strength bonus is added to damage. Monks may throw two of these (if the player has more than one of these tokens) per combat round, but it does not count as a flurry of blows attack.
These items may be retrieved at the end of combat, but each specific token can only be used once per combat.
non-magical weapon
Weapons & ammunition made from or coated with silver do not deal extra damage to lycanthropes. (Silver Sickle is the sole exception.) However, damage from silver weapons/ammo cannot be regenerated or magically healed by lycanthropes.
When used to make a successful missile attack (slid as weapon on the combat board), this alchemical weapon deals Poison damage to the monster. It is usable only once, whether the attack succeeds or misses.
Like all alchemical weapons, this item deals double damage if the attacker scores a natural 20 on the attack slide and is affected by Ranged combat bonuses (hit and damage). But unlike thrown physical weapons (dagger, spear, etc.),
non-magical* compound Sacred weapon
This is not a shuriken. A monk may only throw one of these per round.
Unless modified by some other token/effect, this weapon does not deal any Blunt, Piercing, or Slashing damage.
Note: Undead suffer double damage from any source of Sacred energy, but Good-aligned Outsiders take no damage from Sacred power. If an attack with added Sacred damage wounds an Undead creature,
non-magical melee weapon
The wielder is healed 1 HP each time they slide a natural 20 while attacking with this weapon.
This special weapon, created at the request of the Thieves’ Guild Master Nightshade, has unique properties in the hands of a rogue when attempting a sneak attack.
If the rogue uses this weapon to perform a sneak attack, (assuming the monster has vital areas and can be sneak attacked) and the damage indicator points to the 🗡 on the damage wheel, Nightshade’s +2 Throwing Dagger deals 10 damage.
non-magical weapon which breaks (must be turned into the DM) at the conclusion of combat
