Shirt of Shielding
If outdoors, this cloak camouflages the wearer when still. This effect prevents the wearer from gaining the attention of an attacking monster as long as the wearer takes no actions during combat. Thus, the wearer cannot be the target of an attack. In order to remain undetected, the wearer may not attack, move, talk, cast spells, play bardsong, or pretty much anything other than stand still & breathe.
This cloak works equally well on submerged or surfaced characters provided the surfaced wearer does nothing other than tread water in place–provided the water is outdoors.
Monster Trophy tokens can only be found in the random treasure generators found at the end of an adventure. Each represents either a portion of a creature, statuary, flora, or raw materials (e.g., metals or minerals) found within a True Dungeon adventure.
Monster Trophy tokens have black lettering and gold backs (or brown lettering on wood in 2006). They are primarily used to make Combo/Transmuted tokens and are often highly-prized by token collectors.
All melee attacks made against the caster suffer a 50% miss chance. Before making an attack roll, would be attackers must roll a d20 to determine if they can hit the caster. If the result of that roll is 1-10, that attack roll can be made. If the result was 11-20, the caster cannot be hit that round.
Cannot be cast on other targets
The net effect of this spell–a 50% miss chance–is identical to mirror image.
