Dagger of Arcane Luck
After sliding this weapon token, the player immediately (before another player performs an attack slide) slides another unused* puck. With a bit of sliding skill, this secondary puck can be used to bump another combat slider into a higher AC zone. The secondary puck does not count as either a hit or miss and does not deal any damage.
In Virtual True Dungeon, instead of sliding a second puck, the wizard player attacking with this weapon may give one other player (not themself) who has not yet attacked that round a +5 To Hit bonus on their next attack roll. This bonus must be used in the same round the wizard attacked with this weapon–it cannot be “banked” for later use. If the wizard grants the To Hit bonus to a monk using flurry of blows or a dual-wielding ranger, the +5 To Hit bonus applies to both attack rolls. This bonus may be bestowed every time the wizard uses this dagger to make an attack roll. Each time the wizard player invokes this dagger’s power, the player may designate any eligible recipient they desire, whether or not that player has received this bonus before. I.e., the wizard is not required to grant the bonus to the same recipient each round, but may do so if desired.
*The wizard player has the option to slide an empty puck or a puck with an upside-down token in it. In either case, the secondary puck’s class label may not be a class currently in the party, whether or not that player is using the puck that round. E.g., if a party has a druid and a wizard wielding this dagger, the wizard may not use the druid puck for the secondary slide–even if the druid player is not making an attack slide. In a typical party of 10 players, this means the wizard has only two class options to pick for the secondary puck.
