Bracelets of the Cabal
All damage and/or healing spells cast by the wearer deal/heal additional points depending on the total number of Bracelets of the Cabal worn in the party, as shown below:
If two characters are wearing Bracelets of the Cabal, those two would each gain +1 point to their healing and/or damage spells. Spells cast by characters not wearing Bracelets of the Cabal damage/heal normally.
If a spell under the influence of Bracelets of the Cabal can affect more than one target, the caster must decide how the pool of bonus points is applied. E.g., if five characters had a Bracelets of the Cabal equipped and one character cast a spell that healed all party members 1 HP, there would be a total of three additional HP cured, not 4 HP to all 10 characters. The caster may apply all the bonus points to one recipient or divvy them out to multiple recipients.
Note: This item only affects spells cast from the character card. It does not affect spells cast from scrolls or magic items.
This item is part of the Cabal Set.
When all three Cabal items are worn, wearers gain the ability to cast two spells from their character card in one round. (Both spells are marked off the player’s card.) The second spell is cast as a Free Action. Unlike the Bracelets of the Zephyr ability, either or both spells cast in this manner are capable of being modified or duplicated because neither is “cast as a scroll”. This ability is usable once per room.
