Adds +1 to the damage normally caused when turning undead, but only when turning corporeal Undead (those with a physical body.)
Max 1/person
If the owner of this item dies before reaching the final room of the adventure, the owner has the option to “pay off Death” and return to life. The state of life one is returned to depends on how much Death was paid:
This item allows a druid to learn the clue(s) that would be given from a bard’s Bardic Knowledge check and/or a rogue’s skill check box without having to pass the test(s). This does not allow the druid to take the treasure in lieu of the clue.
A Libram of Looting cannot be used in conjunction with this token to get both the clue and treasure from what would have been the rogue’s skill test.
Worn on the wrist of a monk when making flurry of blows attacks, what would normally be armor becomes an offensive weapon. The token is placed in one of the monk’s combat sliders but both sliders are still used per normal open handed combat. If this weapon is used to score a natural 20, the monster will immediately perish if the 8🖐🏿 on the damage wheel is facing the damage dot indicator on the combat board.
Once per game, this item allows the wearer to retrieve and drink one healing potion as a Free Action. It does not work for other liquids like oils or salves, nor for non-healing potions. The word “Potion” must be printed at the top of the token for it to work with this item. E.g., it cannot be used to drink from a Flask of Survival as a Free Action because 1) a flask is not a potion and 2) it doesn’t have a healing effect.
Adds +1 to Melee AC
Captain’s Cup must be equipped in the offhand Melee slot for the entire game.
This item also allows its user to retrieve and drink one potion as a Free Action once per combat. It does not work for other liquids like oils or salves. The word “Potion” must be printed at the top of the token for it to work with this item. E.g., it cannot be used to drink from a Flask of Survival as a Free Action because a flask is not a potion.
Once per adventure, the equipper of this book may re-cast a 2nd-level or lower spell (from the character card, not a scroll, magic item, nor a spell “cast as a scroll”) that s/he had previously cast. This recasting requires a Standard Action to perform. The re-cast spell is “cast as a scroll” and therefore cannot be modified or duplicated and cannot benefit from a skill test (use the lower damage number.)
Note: Though any class may equip this token,
Once per room, if the party’s Initiative Check roll is a natural 15-20 and the party wins the Initiative check, anyone wearing a Charm of Quick Strike may immediately slide an attack (melee, ranged, or spell, any kind of slide attack is eligible) before combat starts. If the room has the potential for a Surprise attack round, the extra attack granted by this charm is in addition to the Surprise attack and should be resolved before the Surprise attacks are made.
