Like all +2 weapons, the DM will add +2 to the AC hit when using this weapon but the damage bonus has already been factored into the damage wheel.
When a barbarian wielding this weapon’s first slide in combat is a natural 20 (not just a critical hit), the damage gets tripled instead of doubled. No other classes can benefit from this weapon’s triple-damage effect.
Like all +2 weapons, the DM will add +2 to the AC hit when using this weapon but the damage bonus has already been factored into the damage wheel.
If a paladin wielding this weapon is attacking an Evil Outsider and slides a natural 20 and either the 10 or 11 (the two numbers with a ✸) is closest to the damage dot, the target will instantly be slain. No other classes can benefit from this weapon’s insta-kill effect.
Like all +2 weapons, the DM will add +2 to the AC hit when using this weapon but the damage bonus has already been factored into the damage wheel.
When a character wielding this weapon slides a natural 20 (not necessarily a crit), the target will be Stunned for one round. Effects which expand the crit range of a weapon do NOT allow this weapon to stun on anything other than a 20.
Once per room, if the party’s Initiative Check roll is a natural 15-20 and the party wins the Initiative check, anyone wearing a Charm of Quick Strike may immediately slide an attack (melee, ranged, or spell, any kind of slide attack is eligible) before combat starts. If the room has the potential for a Surprise attack round, the extra attack granted by this charm is in addition to the Surprise attack and should be resolved before the Surprise attacks are made.
The wearer may re-cast a damage or cure spell the character already cast if a higher level spell is sacrificed. If the character has no available (not yet cast) higher-level spells, this item has no effect. It cannot be used to re-cast spells which neither damage nor heal. This effect cannot be used more than once per round.
The re-cast spell must be either healing or damage-inflicting, but the sacrificed spell can be any type of spell.
Wearer gains +2 to all saving throws. In addition, once per game the wearer may negate one missile (physical ranged attack, not spells or wholly magical effects) or melee attack which targeted the wearer. The wearer chooses when to invoke the attack-negation power.
Wearer is imbued with Psychic Power. Furthermore, once per game the wearer may manifest a second Psychic Power. However, the second Psychic Power may not be the same as the first one manifested. I.e., it does not allow the wearer to manifest the same power twice.
Psychic Power
Players wishing to use a Psychic Power must unlock their character’s Psychic Potential by equipping a token that imbues Psychic Power before the start of their adventure.
Each wearer gains additional AC based on the number of Earcuff of the Phalanx worn in the party, as shown below:
Adds +2 to Dexterity (thus adding +1 To Hit with ranged attacks, +1 to AC, and +1 to Reflex saving throws)
User’s melee weapon attacks (including monk open hand) deal +2 Damage as Fire
Adds +6 to Strength (thus adding +3 To Hit in melee and +3 Damage with melee and thrown weapons), -4 to Dexterity (thus suffering -2 To Hit with ranged attacks, -2 to AC, and -2 to Reflex saving throws), and -4 to Constitution (thus suffering -2 to Fortitude saving throws and -2 to max HP per character level)
Healing Spells and scrolls (not spells “cast as a scroll” nor miscellaneous magic items) cast by the wearer heal +2 HP. In addition, any healing Spell or scroll cast by the wearer may be divided between two targets. The wearer may allocate the division in any way they see fit, as long as only whole numbers are used. E.g., if a cleric wearing these lenses cast cure light wounds (and passed the skill check),
